Hey. Would you like an Avengers: Endgameposter?Watch Ava Online How about one for each and every player in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, no matter how small or insignificant?

Like it or not, that's the gift Marvel has for all of us on March 26 in this, the year of our Phase 3 wrap-up, 2019. I don't know how many there are, but character-specific posters for an assortment of major and minor characters are all over social media.

As is typical with Marvel, there's more than meets the eye. If you pay careful attention to the posters, you'll note that some are in full color while others are in black-and-white. That's not an accident. There's a common, I guess technicallyspoiler-y bond tying together all the two-tone posters: they specifically feature dead characters.

Here, let me show you...

Rocket! Alive!

Captain Marvel! Super alive! She just debuted in her own movie and we're pretty sure she's the key that'll save everyone from Thanos.

Black Panther. We watched him turn to dust. It sucked. He must be avenged. (And, let's be real, resurrected so we can get a Black Panther 2.)

There's no one better to avenge Wakanda's fallen than Okoye, who is still very much alive and probably extremely mad and raring to put her Dora Milaje training to work.

In a lot of ways, the events that lead us into Endgameare The Vision's fault. He ate it in the end. Maybe we can pump the brakes on avenging him.

Natasha Romanova survived Thanos' universe-splitting snap, and any number of other no-win scenarios that surely would have left you, me, anyone else extremely dead. She's also one of the fiercest warriors in the MCU crew. You're damn right she'll be avenging some fallen.

OK fine, we can avenge Loki. He's kind of a turd. But he's Thor's bro and he got iced before Thanos even set foot on Earth. Who knows, maybe he would've had one of his trademark changes of heart and helped humanity if he'd lived longer.

The posters do bring some light news. We now know for surethat Tony Stark's forever-perturbed personal assistant Happy Hogan is alive and well. Happy for Happy.

Avengers: Endgamehits theaters on April 26.
