Many internet denizens weren't so pleased with Ed Sheeran's musical cameo in Game of Thrones -- so much so that when he deleted his Twitter account the next day,The Liar (2014) people assumed he'd been driven away by critics.

But Ed Sheeran says that is not the case. In fact, Ed Sheeran is pleased with his Game of Thrones performance, and no one can take that away from him.

"I came off Twitter coz I was always intending to come off Twitter, had nothing to do with what people said about my Game of Thrones cameo, because I am in Game of Thrones, why the hell would I worry what people thought about that," Sheeran wrote on Instagram Wednesday, now his preferred social platform.
