No, seriously. Funny or Die on Wednesday unveiled a new trailer (exclusively on Mashablebelow) and the release date for the series Our Fascinating Planet.

Set to launch on Verizon's go90 on Oct. 5, the show will follow author, educator and TV presenter Ted Rimmarniet (Martin) as he "explores our Universe and ourselves."

Themed episodes include space, energy, the brain and the Earth. Comedian guest stars include Ron Funches, Al Madrigal, Charlyne Yi and Kate Berlant.

"The Universe has always fascinated me and now with this hugely monumental series, I get a chance to fascinate it back," Martin said in a statement.

A special world premiere of the first two episodes will be screened on Sept. 29 at NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts following a night of stand-up comedy with Martin.
