Nintendo has kicked off an era of revelations for our favourite videogame plumbercharacter.

First, the (non-)announcement: Mario is not a plumber anymore. (Not that he'd being doing a lot of pipe repairs recently anyway. Who's ever seen the moustachioed little guy doing any plumbing in its 32-year-old history.)

Now, a new revelation: Mario has been spotted in the latest Nintendo Direct presentation for Super Mario Odysseywithout a shirt on. And despite having no belly button a-la Kyle XY, he definitely has nipples.
