Sad news for fans of the rapid-fire,full length porn movies - free watch online and download fiery-insult-hurling political masterpiece that is HBO's Veep: the brains behind the show have announced that its next season, its seventh, will be its last.

The announcement was made Wednesday evening by showrunner David Mandel and star/executive producer Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Louis-Dreyfus indicated that this was completely a creative decision: "It became clear that this season should be the last season. We don't want to repeat ourselves or wear out our welcome. The story has a finality to it that feels end-of-series."

The hilarious and hilariously crude show, created by Scottish genius Armando Iannucci (who was responsible for the equally funny and rude political UK comedy Thick Of It), has made the most of one of television's best ensembles, including Reid Scott, Tony Hale, Anna Chlumsky, Matt Walsh and Sam Richardson and more and more and more.

The show has also been through a loop of plot points for Louis-Dreyfus' Selina Meyer. From Vice President in the early seasons to a surprise ascendency to the Oval Office, to a failed re-election campaign, to the most recent season in which Meyer struggled to navigate life post-politics and decided, in the closing moments, to take one more run at the White House.

Mandel added, speaking to THR, "We don't want to repeat ourselves or be boring. It's bittersweet but it's right."

Mandel and Louis-Dreyfus have apparently mapped out the story arc for the final season and Mandel told THRthat writers are prepping a full 10 episode season for the final go-around.

On Twitter, members of the cast were fairly upbeat.

So grab some tissues and prepare to shed a tear as we take one more ripping round at creatively offensive insults aimed at Timothy Simons' troll-bro Jonah Ryan.

Oh how we'll miss Jonah the most.
