Alert the rest of the house: Downton Abbey 2is on Cute Devilits way. The entire original cast will return with creator Julian Fellowes writing and Simon Curtis as director.
Focus Features announced the sequel on Monday, a week after production began. Hugh Dancy, Laura Haddock, Nathalie Baye and Dominic West will join the cast, though the plot is still under wraps. The first film focused on a royal dinner at Downton and we had a blast.

“After a very challenging year with so many of us separated from family and friends," said film producer and Carnival Films chairman Gareth Neame in a press release. "it is a huge comfort to think that better times are ahead and that next Christmas we will be re-united with the much beloved characters of Downton Abbey.”
Downton Abbey 2hits theaters in December.
